30,000 hours in the field: what we learned
The 2026 irrigation season is practically over, and with it RainAnton's first. Together with numerous farmers, we put our valves to the test in regular field tests and reached more than 30,000 operating hours in the process.
We are grateful for the feedback from the farms that tested RainAnton for us. Only that way could we better understand what matters to farmers in autonomous irrigation: simple handling, ease of use and real relief from workload. That is why we have strictly aligned our product with these needs and are continuing to develop it to meet these requirements even better.
The test farms also frequently asked about possible hardware or software extensions. We want to follow up on these where possible and implement many of them before the start of the 2027 season. By then, we will automate the pressure monitoring capabilities, giving farmers even more security in their automated irrigation.
Finally, we, Leonhard and Maximilian, would like to warmly thank all test farms for their trust and their feedback. That we have already been able to win our first farms as customers is the best confirmation of this season for us. We look forward to the coming year and the first deliveries.
